Wave Master Black Now Available

Wave Master is now available in black! Recently Wave Master was selected as Maximum PC magazine’s “Dream Machine 2003” (September 2003). The machine was also recommended as the machine of the year by an article titled “Give My PC Life” in the technical column of the Fortune magazine.

Like the previous silver edition, Wave Master Black features an impressively cool and sleek design. The machine also inherits the premium heat dissipation design (two fans in the front, one on the back, plus one on the top—could be swapped with the USB module) from the aluminum Cooler Master series. The other good news is that Wave Master has successfully passed the 10000-rpm system test of SATA, a well-known hard disk manufacturer.

In addition, Wave Master has the advantage of the best ever frame and materials. Made of aluminum alloy, the high strength case frame is constructed with 2mm plates. Such a design perfectly combines the solidest aluminum case with the most outstanding frame.

The most distinctive feature of Wave Master Black is its stylish appearance. The mirage black treatment gives the machine an elegant gloss finish while the low-key black exterior emphasizes Wave Master’s unique character and fine taste.

Nordic hardware pits 6 graphics cards against each other: AIW Radeon 9600 Pro, Albatron GeForce FX 5600 Ultra, Albatron GeForce FX 5600 Ultra and Albatron GeForce FX 5900 PV.

PCStats has a very good article up on Memory Bandwidth vs. Latency Timings.

Adrian's Rojak Pot just posted the Interim Release 6 of the new REVISION 8.0 BIOS OPTIMIZATION GUIDE with 12 new BIOS options.

Start tweaking with NVIDIA's newest little utility that allows your nForce based motherboard to break the binding bonds of the BIOS and make changes to a number of settings in your Windows environment called the NVIDIA System Utility (NVSU). Bjorn3D gives you the lowdown.

Looking for a an affordable entry into 800FSB land without the expensive price tag? The Albatron PX865PE Lite Pro may be the ticket you're looking for. Viperlair has the scoop.

HardTecs4U takes a look at the VIA PT880 on the VIA VT5798B reference motherboard, the first VIA chipset featuring a Dual Channel DDR400 memory controller, and compared its performance against Intel´s i875P.

Video cards continue to turn up the frame rates and pack on the onboard memory but how is this "bigger, better, faster" benefiting you and how much? Is 128 MB of onboard memory enough or is it the new monsters with 256 MB? ATI's 9800 PRO 256 MB edition is stacked up against its little brother, the 9700 PRO 128 MB edition, to reveal a few answers. Brought to you by Short Media.

The guys at NordicHardware have taken some time out to measure the performance with the new patch for 3DMark03. Has nVidia and ATi been good little boys since the last patch or are there new optimizations? The text is in swedish but the performance charts speak for themselves.

Besides computer, The Tech Zone loves cars! And what better place to see some really hot cars than in Las Vegas for the 2003 SEMA Show! TTZ got some really great pictures of some of the hottest demo cars in the world. And if you look carefully, you'll see some hot booth babes as well.

Hardware Analysis checks out the PCChips EZ-Watcher EZW-3060 Mini-PC, which offers, among other features, dynamic overclocking functionality. Hmm.

OCIA spices up an old case with a Red Meshed Zalman 400w Silent PSU and some replacement UV molex connectors.

TechJuice takes on the Logitech Cordless MX Duo, something i'd live to get for myself if not for the exorbitant prices over here.

The Overclocker Café has just posted up their review of the ABIT KV7 mainboard based on the KT600 chipset. They found it not to be the nForce2 killer it was originally thought to be but being laden with features including native SATA; it is worth a look especially with its $80 (~RM 320) price tag.

Here’s something interesting – 6 channel surround sound headphones! Zalman Tech has just released a new pair of audio headphones designed to create a realistic surround sound listening experience. The lads at SystemCooling gives us the lowdown.
