Cooling your computer processor remains one of the most important aspects of your computer. For the most part, computer enthusiasts have two methods to pick from: air or liquid cooling. More extreme measures such as phase change cooling and the like, in our opinion, don't really count as something an enthusiast would go for, but rather something that the really hardcore would utilize. One of the latest technologies in aircooling solutions include the use of heatpipes. Many manufacturers have gone down this road with varying degrees of sucess.

CoolerMaster too also had heatpipe based products in their line of CPU coolers, namely the HHC-001 which received favorable reviews from the hardware community when first introduced sometime back. Fast forward into the present, and CoolerMaster takes another look at heatpipe cooling solutions with the Hyper 6 which uses a tower design. Does CoolerMaster have a winner on their hands?

The Hyper 6's packaging is pretty impressive, even coming with a handle for carrying around. Inside, you can see that the heatsink and accessories are very well protected by a nice thick layer of foam padding. Lets take a look at the contents of the box.
