article by David, 26 January 2004

Introduction

With the case-modding trend becoming mainstream with a lot of products catering to the budding computer enthusiast being very easily available on the market, its getting that much harder for manufacturers to compete against one another when it comes to originality, functionality and aesthetics.

CoolerMaster has been very well known for their line of high-end aluminum computer casing spanning from the ATCS series to the current line of cases which include among others the very sexy Praetorian and WaveMaster chassis. CoolerMaster also delved into providing cooling solutions for both OEM and commercial purposes. To stay competitive in the current market, new products have to be introduced to maintain interest and visibility compared to competing brands.

Of special interest is CoolerMaster's Musketeer, which is given the function 'System Dynamics Detector". This is but one of CoolerMaster's latest products in their range of accessories for sprucing up your PC. Coming in two color schemes: Black (LLC -U01) and Silver (LLC-U02), this device gives the impression of more flash than functionality. True? Read on to find out.
